Pytheas’ Path
Our organization, Pytheas’ Path was named after the Ancient Greek explorer, Pytheas of Massalia. In the 320’s BC, he set out to explore the unknown world. Pytheas’ explorations took him from the Mediterranean to the undiscovered British Isles, where he circumnavigated, explored, and engaged in trade with the local populations.
Pytheas’ Path supports and runs programs that allow refugees to foster their own independence, and establish themselves as a productive member of society. This includes supporting programs that foster personal development, and making life a little easier so that they can prioritize their development over having to concern themselves with basic needs, that we take for granted.
