«BE-PART: Breaking silos, promoting youth-led intercommunal dialogue against xenophobia at a local level»

Three-day training course aimed at developing skills to prevent and combat phenomena of institutional racism, developing advocacy and inclusion skills.

The purpose of the “BE-PART” Program is to prevent and combat the phenomena of racism and xenophobia by strengthening the inter-community dialogue of young people at the local and institutional level. In particular, the project aims to promote the institution of Municipal Youth Councils and in this direction seeks to strengthen their inclusive identity, supporting young people from ethnic, immigrant, cultural or even social groups, with the aim of active and equal participation them in the management of local affairs to ensure open, democratic and sustainable local societies. The Project is supported by the General Secretariat of Vocational Education, Training, Lifelong Learning and Youth of the Ministry of Education and Religion and by 3 Municipalities of the country, in which its research, educational and pilot actions are implemented: the Municipality of Athens, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Municipality of Larissa.
